Maureen Fereria is a silversmith living in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, three daughters, black cat and speckled dog. A lifelong lover of jewelry and southwestern art, she spent years collecting vintage rings, daydreaming about learning to make jewelry of her own. In 2019, she took a “Metalsmithing 101” class, and has since been hooked on the process of silversmithing, and its ability to forever challenge her. She feels so honored to know people are excitedly wearing pieces of jewelry she’s made.
I love the slow process of making small batch jewelry by hand. Each stone is hand picked and chosen for every design, and each piece is carefully crafted to withstand every adventure you may wear it on.
Every piece of Cascara Jewelry is made with high quality sterling silver, and ethically-sourced, American-mined stones. My goal is to create pieces that will last a lifetime, and be passed down from generation to generation.
